Haircut. Take Two. {365 - Day 159}

The first and only time Sarah Beth got a haircut, it started off ok, but ended up in tears.  So when she started talking about wanting a haircut this morning, we thought, now's our chance to try again.  Her hair, as you may have noticed from the abundance of photos I post of her, is a bit wild.  Corkscrew curls underneath, wavy in all different directions on top.  It was time for a haircut.

Off we went to Pigtails & Crewcuts, to give the salon experience another shot.  It went much better this time.  She liked the police car seat, but wavered a little until Miss Iris produced a lollipop for her.  It occurred to me that she had never had a sucker before.  It was a delightful revelation to her, and she spent the duration of the haircut perfecting her licking technique.

The only thing that got the lollipop out of her hand was a trip to the toy store (note happy picture on the right.)  Also note that this is the neatest her hair will be until the next haircut, unless Mommy invests in some lollipops to keep her still long enough to "do" her hair.
