Heirloom. {365 - Day 260}

My Grandma's health has been failing.  Soon she will be reuniting with my Grandfather, who was taken away far too many years ago.  I got to talk to her today on the phone and tell her what a wonderful Grandma she has been, and how much we all love her.  Part of me knows she heard me and smiled a little bit.

She gave me this ring a while ago.  It was hers.  I don't wear it very often because it's a little too big.  But today I put it on because she was in my thoughts, and somehow, wearing her ring makes me feel connected to her, even though she is thousands of miles away.  Love you Grandma.
