First Day! {365 - Day 248}

Today was the day.  Sarah Beth's very first day of preschool.  We started off early with chocolate chip pancakes.  Is there anything better than chocolate for breakfast?  Sarah Beth picked out her outfit, then we did the traditional first day of school photo shoot on the front stoop.

 She is a huge fan of her new pink sparkly shoes that Grandma bought for her.  
She chose the striped socks and I think they looked fabulous.

We packed up her Toy Story lunchbox and headed out the door.  Sarah Beth got so excited when she saw all the kids walking into school.  She skipped right into the classroom, not even looking back to say goodbye.  I am so proud of her.  She can't wait to go back tomorrow!

    Thank you God for the gift of this precious child.
    She looks so proud and happy. Love the outfit but especially that smile! Okay so as Grandma I'm a little biased but she is a dear child.
