Operation: Love ReUnited

Our little firecracker playing in the garden

Happy 4th of July from our family to yours!  I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend with family, friends and fireworks!

I thought it would be an appropriate day to blog about Operation: Love Reunited.  This is an organization I recently joined in which volunteer photographers offer patriotic photo sessions to deploying soldiers and their families free of charge, send a free photo album to the soldier once deployed and, if possible, also photograph the reunion once the soldier returns home.  It's such a wonderful idea and I am honored to be a part of it. These families sacrifice so much for our country.  This is a way to give something back to them that may provide comfort while they are separated and they can cherish forever as a reunited family.

If you know of families anywhere across the country with a loved one being deployed, please let them know about this great organization.  To search for a participating photographer by ZIP code, visit  Charlotte area families are welcome to contact me directly for more information.

Have a safe and happy holiday!
