Logan {Charlotte Family Photography}

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet boy on Saturday in celebration of his first birthday.  His Mommy Jessica has been a friend of mine for many years.  I shot their Maternity Session when Logan was still a precious little bun in the oven, and now he's a year old already.  It happens so fast!

Could he be any cuter in this sweater?

Oh, one more photo...guess who is going to be a big brother?

Little Feet. {365 - Day 308}

Today I had the pleasure of a photo session with this sweet boy.  He is Logan and he just turned one.  His Mommy and I have been friends for years, so it was extra fun to shoot this happy family.

I can't decide which I love more, his little feet or his belly peeking out of that precious checked shirt.  And if you think this is cute, wait 'til you see his big blue eyes in the preview.

Sara Lauren and Sydney

Today I spent a fun morning with two spunky girls, Sara Lauren and Sydney, and their parents Samantha and Ben at Freedom Park.  It started out a little chilly but the girls quickly warmed up and got busy exploring.  This lovely family moved here last year and this was their first visit to the "Central Park" of Charlotte.  They did a great job posing for some pictures in between adventures.

I haven't gotten through all the images yet, but I wanted to post a preview since I'm sure I'll be busy with all the festivities my thoughtful husband and sweet daughter have planned for Mother's Day. (Right, honey?)  I wish Sam and all you wonderful mothers out there a special day filled with love and laughter.

3 Cuties

I had a last minute request to take some pictures on Saturday so we met up right before Mallory and Courtney's shoot and snapped off a few of  Liam and Claire and their little cousin Anna Blake.  These three were such cuties, as you can see, and so sweet!

Mallory and Courtney at the Park.

Oh my goodness.  These girls are cute.   And their parents Niki and Brady look like J.Crew models.  So I couldn't wait to get them in front of my camera this weekend.  We have been friends for years, too, so it makes the shoot all the more fun.  I think Brady secretly wants to be a J.Crew model, actually.  He did a nice job working his best Zoolander poses, but I'll leave those shots to be released at his, or I should say Niki's discretion.  I'll stick with the pretty family shots for this preview. See what I mean?  Beautiful family!

Miss Mallory on the left and Miss Courtney on the right.  I wanted to put my camera down and eat these girls up.

This makes me melt a little.

Mallory is a future supermodel.  She was a very enthusiastic not to mention beautiful subject.

Slight mishap required some consoling from Mommy.

Very quick recovery!  Mallory is a trooper.

Who doesn't love bubbles?

Courtney is an excellent bubble blower.

Sisterly love.

Sweetness!

I love this smile.

What a handsome family.

Bubblegum popsicles!  Reward for a job well done.

Hello Handsome.

 I spent yesterday morning at Freedom Park with going-on-4-months-old Reid and his parents.  The weather was absolutely glorious.  We had to evade angry geese and a zillion dogwalkers and daredevil kids on bikes, but it was worth it.  Is he a cutie or what?  (Click on image to view larger.)

Mackenzie and Mason

A beautiful and brisk Sunday in the park with Mackenzie (9) and Mason (6) and their parents Bret and Cindy.  I've known Bret and Cindy for (gulp!) 15 years now and it was such a thrill to spend some time with their giggly kids and take some family photos.  Here's a sneak peek from our day:

Team U.

I love this shot.

Mason the baseball star...

...and Mackenzie the soccer star.

Brother and sister fun.

Mackenzie's shoes were awesome.  Can't pass up a good shoe shot.

Handsome couple!

Thanks Bret, Cindy, Mackenzie and Mason for a fun afternoon!
